Part of our Christmas fun is to make Christmas candies and cookies (you would never know that i work in a dental office with all the sugar we had going on in my house this last month!). My kids absolutely LOVE helping out in the kitchen. Jon is going to be a great help when he gets married. He is such a little man. Lilly finds it very interesting for the first 20-30 minutes and then she is out of here. She mainly likes the mixing (so that she can lick the bowl) or the decorating. We had so much fun. It is a whole lot of work and a BIG mess but it is all worth it when the kids see the finished product and are so proud to bag it up in cut little bags and give it to the family on Christmas Eve. Here are a few pictures of our evening. Even Gabby was in on the fun!
